We bring you the purest wines

With a history spanning 8,000 years, wine is one of the oldest cultural goods known to man. Besides its cultural and social values, it forms part of numerous rituals, mythologies and religions. Wine-growing is a trade, a science, an art and a philosophy in one. The quality of the soil is decisive for the quality and style of the wines, right down to the smallest capillaries. The aroma of the wine comprises almost 1,000 different components. The substances creating the flavour are mostly dependent on the variety of grape; whilst the terroir (locational factors and weather) does not influence the formation of the aroma in the berries until the ripening period. Further aromas are formed during processing, fermentation, maturation and storage. This is why wine bottles should be protected from light and stored horizontally in a cool place.
